CNC MAINTENANCE MECHANIC -
2nd or 3rd SHIFT
POSITION
SUMMARY:
Install,
maintain, and/or repair machinery, equipment, physical
structures, and electrical.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repair and maintain
machinery and mechanical equipment according to
diagrams, sketches, operational manuals, etc., utilizing
hand tools, power tools and manual equipment such as
drills, welding equipment, etc.
-
Visually inspects
and test machinery and equipment, using electrical
and electronic test equipment. Listens for unusual
sounds from machines or equipment to detect
malfunction and discusses machine operation
variations with supervisors or other maintenance
workers to diagnose problems or repair machine with
voltages up to 480 volts ac.
-
Dismantles devices
to gain access to and remove defective parts, using
hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
-
Examines form and
texture of parts to detect imperfections; inspects
used parts to determine changes in dimensional
requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers,
indicators and other measuring instruments. Adjusts
functional parts of devices and control instruments,
using hand tools and levels.
-
Repairs or replaces
defective parts, using hand tools and power tools.
-
Start devices to
test their performance.
-
Sets up and
operates lathe, drill press, grinder and other
metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
-
Cleans and
lubricates shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts
of machinery, using rags, brushes, and grease gun.
SKILL AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Two year technical
degree with 1-2 years’ experience and must be able to
pass a qualifying test. Requires an individual with
team-oriented skills. Without a technical degree the
individual must have 2-4 years’ of related maintenance
experience.

ELECTRONICS AND SOFTWARE
TEST TECHNICIAN
OVERVIEW:
The Electronics and Software Test
Technician will contribute to a team designing and
developing software for embedded control systems.
Contribution will be through providing general
electronics technician support and by executing, and
documenting software tests. Candidates for this position
should possess proven technical ability, acute attention
to detail, and an inquisitive disposition.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Execution and documentation of
suitable test cases for software components at the
source code, model, and hardware-in-the-loop levels.
-
Organization, documentation, and
archival of test cases and results.
-
Provide general electronics
technician support and trouble shooting through use
of basic electronic test equipment.
-
Construct special electrical /
electronic test hardware including harnesses.
-
Evaluate returned electronic
controllers for proper function.
-
Support experimental tractor builds
and initial production startup.
-
Draw electrical / electronic
schematics.
-
Write automated test scripts to test
software.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
-
Training in
Electronics Engineering Technology or closely
related field.
-
Knowledge of embedded
software systems.
-
Experience with
electronic test equipment.
-
Excellent oral and
written communication and interpersonal skills.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
-
Experience with software testing.
-
Experience with Labview and TestStand is a plus.
-
Knowledge of C programming language and software
development tools, including version control systems
is beneficial.

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE
TEST ENGINEER - Short Term Position - 6 Months
OVERVIEW:
The Embedded Software Test Engineer will
contribute to a team designing software for embedded
control systems by creating, executing, and documenting
tests devised from the systems’ formal specifications
and the Test Engineer’s own insight. Candidates for this
position should possess proven technical ability, acute
attention to detail, and an inquisitive disposition.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

TOOL CRIB ATTENDANT - 2nd
SHIFT
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Issue tools and
supplies from the tool crib.
-
Ensure material
requisitions are properly filled out and submitted
prior to the issuance of any material from the crib.
-
Enter issue data into
the computer daily to update the crib inventory
system.
-
Pick up used inserts
daily from each cell and check for any unused
cutting edges.
-
Secure the crib by
keeping it locked at all times to insure proper
security.

Maintain proper
housekeeping and organization in the crib.
-
Inspect incoming
tools to verify conformance to specifications.
SKILL AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma
or equivalent.

Knowledge of cutting
tools used for CNC machining operations.

Must be able to lift
and/or move/push packages weighing from 8 to 50
pounds.

Must be able to use
computer and accurately enter data.

Must be able to read
tool prints.

SUMMARY:

manufacturing company seeks a dependable person who
loads, unloads and moves materials within or near plant,
assists with product completion and packing and shipping
of products. Also assists with routine maintenance of
plant machinery, and maintenance and cleaning of
production plant. Must be able to operate a fork truck.
