ATTENDANT
Essential
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Issue tools and supplies from the tool crib.
-
Ensure material requisitions are properly filled out
and submitted prior to the issuance of any material
from the crib.
-
Enter issue data into the computer daily to update
the crib inventory system.
-
Pick up used inserts daily from each cell and check
for any unused cutting edges.
-
Secure the crib by keeping it locked at all times to
insure proper security.
-
Fill in for utility or material handler positions as
required to meet production needs.
-
Maintain proper housekeeping and organization in the
crib.
-
Inspect incoming tools to verify conformance to
specifications.
Skill and Education
requirements
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Knowledge of cutting tools used for CNC machining
operations.
-
Must be able to lift and/or move/push packages
weighing from 8 to 500 pounds.
-
Must be able to use computer and accurately enter
data.
-
Must be able to read tool prints.
-
Must possess ability to communicate effectively with
peers and management.

SENSOR APPLICATIONS TECHNICIAN
The Sensor
Application/Development Technician will contribute
to a team evaluating and testing sensors for off road
vehicle applications. Contribution will be through
providing general technician support. Candidates for
this position should possess proven technical ability,
acute attention to detail, problem solving skills and an
inquisitive disposition.
Responsibilities

Setup and conduct sensor tests in a shop
environment.

Provide general electronics technician support and
troubleshooting through the use of basic electronic
test equipment.

Construct special electrical / mechanical test

Analyze test data with the use of Microsoft Excel.

Simulate and operate sensor tests with Labview.

3rd SHIFT
CNC MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Position Summary
Install, maintain, and/or
repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and
electrical.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Repair and maintain
machinery and mechanical equipment according to
diagrams, sketches, operational manuals, etc., utilizing
hand tools, power tools and manual equipment such as
drills, welding equipment, etc.
-
Visually inspects and
test machinery and equipment, using electrical and
electronic test equipment. Listens for unusual
sounds from machines or equipment to detect
malfunction and discusses machine operation
variations with supervisors or other maintenance
workers to diagnose problems or repair machine with
voltages up to 480 volts ac.
-
Dismantles devices to
gain access to and remove defective parts, using
hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
-
Examines form and
texture of parts to detect imperfections; inspects
used parts to determine changes in dimensional
requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers,
indicators and other measuring instruments. Adjusts
functional parts of devices and control instruments,
using hand tools and levels.
-
Repairs or replaces
defective parts, using hand tools and power tools.
-
Start devices to test
their performance.
-
Sets up and operates
lathe, drill press, grinder and other metalworking
tools to make and repair parts.
-
Cleans and lubricates
shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of
machinery, using rags, brushes, and grease gun.
Skill and
Education Requirements
Two year technical degree with 1-2
years’ experience and must be able to pass a qualifying
test. Requires an individual with team oriented skills.
Without a technical degree the individual must have 2-4
years’ of related maintenance experience.

Execution and documentation of suitable test cases
for software components primarily at the source code
level, but potentially at the model, and
hardware-in-the-loop levels.

Provide general electronics technician support and
trouble shooting through use of basic electronic
test equipment.

Construct special electrical / electronic test
hardware including harnesses.

Write orders to Experimental Shop and Test Lab for
work requiring this support.

Checkout returned electronic controllers for proper
function.

Support experimental tractor builds and initial
production startup.

Draw electrical / electronic schematics.

Work with Labview and support migration to automated
software testing.
Required
